Ingredients

  • 300g steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 250g pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear the steak to your preferred doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest before slicing into thin strips.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to form a creamy sauce.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  9. Top with sliced steak or mix it into the pasta.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Let the steak rest before slicing to keep it juicy and tender.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra nutrients and flavor.
  • Substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter version.
  • A splash of white wine can enhance the sauce depth.
