A soft and moist apple cake filled with tender chunks of apples and warm cinnamon flavor, perfect for a simple and comforting homemade dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add oil or melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until a batter forms.
  6. Fold in chopped apples evenly throughout the batter.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving.
