A delicious and comforting pizza topped with sweet corn, melted cheeses, and herbs, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup sweet corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup cream or ricotta (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (basil or parsley), chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking tray or pizza stone.
  2. If using fresh or frozen corn, heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the corn with minced garlic for 3–4 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough and place it on the prepared surface.
  4. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and spread a thin layer of cream or ricotta if using.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  6. Add the corn evenly on top.
  7. Sprinkle parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes if desired.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with fresh herbs.
  10. Slice and serve warm.
