A creamy and refreshing make-ahead breakfast made with rolled oats, sweet strawberries, and yogurt, soaked overnight for a soft and indulgent texture.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract into a jar or bowl.
  2. Stir well until everything is fully combined and the oats are covered in liquid.
  3. Mix in the chopped strawberries, reserving a few pieces for topping.
  4. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats well.
  6. Top with the remaining strawberries and serve.

Notes

  • Use ripe strawberries for the best natural sweetness.
  • Add chia seeds for a thicker consistency and extra nutrition.
  • Greek yogurt can be used for a richer and creamier texture.
