  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth and glossy. Let it cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until thick and shiny.
  4. Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold until just incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are set and the center remains slightly soft.
  8. Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • Avoid overmixing to maintain a fudgy texture.
  • Do not overbake; the center should remain slightly soft.
  • Use high-quality dark chocolate for best results.
  • Add chocolate chips or nuts for variation.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep them moist.
