A crispy, cheesy sandwich that combines the flavors of pizza with classic grilled cheese, served with a creamy ranch dip for an extra burst of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1216 pepperoni slices
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the unbuttered side, spread a thin layer of pizza sauce.
  3. Layer mozzarella, cheddar, and pepperoni slices on two slices of bread.
  4. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the fillings.
  5. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing outward.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the pan.
  7. Cook for 4–5 minutes on one side, pressing gently, until golden brown.
  8. Flip and cook the other side until crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
  9. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and slice in half.
  10. Serve warm with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.

  • Cook on medium-low heat to avoid burning the bread.
  • Use thicker bread slices for better structure.
  • Swap pepperoni with vegetables or turkey pepperoni for variation.
