This Healthy Kale & Frozen Berry Smoothie is creamy, refreshing, and packed with nutritious ingredients. Sweet frozen berries and banana balance the fresh kale perfectly, creating a delicious smoothie that is ideal for breakfast, snacks, or post-workout fuel.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Ice cubes, if needed

Instructions

  1. Add the almond milk and Greek yogurt to the blender first.
  2. Add the kale leaves and blend briefly until smooth.
  3. Add the frozen mixed berries, banana, honey or maple syrup if using, and chia seeds if desired.
  4. Blend until the smoothie becomes creamy and fully smooth.
  5. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk until the desired consistency is reached.
  6. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
