  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Place the shrimp in the skillet in a single layer.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.

  8. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  9. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender and juicy.
  • Thaw and pat dry frozen shrimp before cooking.
  • Add a splash of white wine for extra depth of flavor.
  • For a creamy version, stir in a bit of heavy cream at the end.
  • Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
