Ingredients
1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3/4 cup water (adjust as needed for batter)
Oil for frying
For the sauce:
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and water until a smooth batter forms.
Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
Fry the cauliflower in batches until golden and crispy, about 4–5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
In a separate pan, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lime juice. Heat gently until warmed through.
Toss the fried cauliflower in the sauce until evenly coated.
Serve immediately while crispy.
Notes
Fry in batches to maintain oil temperature and crispiness.
For a lighter option, bake or air-fry instead of deep frying.
Add chili flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions for added texture.
Ensure cauliflower is dry before battering for best results.
