Light, flexible egg white wraps that are high in protein and perfect for filling with vegetables, lean meats, or cheese for a healthy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup egg whites (about 68 egg whites)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1/2 cup spinach (optional)
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced (optional)
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken or turkey (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the egg whites with salt and black pepper until slightly frothy.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with olive oil or cooking spray.
  3. Pour a thin layer of egg whites into the pan, spreading evenly like a crepe.
  4. Cook for 1–2 minutes until set, then carefully flip and cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining egg whites to make additional wraps.
  6. Fill each wrap with desired ingredients such as spinach, tomatoes, avocado, cooked chicken, or cheese.
  7. Roll up the wraps and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cook gently and avoid making wraps too thin to prevent tearing.
  • Add herbs like parsley or chives for extra flavor.
  • Include hot sauce or chili flakes for a spicy variation.
  • Whole eggs can be used for a richer version.
  • Best enjoyed fresh for optimal texture.
