A refreshing and indulgent creamy lemonade made with fresh lemon juice, sweetened condensed milk or cream, and a chilled base for a smooth, sweet-tart summer drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 34 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk or 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 24 tablespoons sugar (optional, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Juice fresh lemons and strain if a smoother texture is preferred.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, cold water, and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Slowly whisk in sweetened condensed milk or heavy cream until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  4. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt if using.
  5. Stir well and adjust sweetness or creaminess to taste.
  6. Add ice cubes to the pitcher or individual glasses.
  7. Serve chilled and garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemons for the best bright and natural flavor.
  • Stir well before serving as the creamy base may separate slightly.
  • Blend for a frothier, smoother texture if desired.
  • For a lighter version, substitute milk for condensed milk.
  • Dairy-free alternatives like coconut milk can be used.
