A quick and comforting creamy beef and shells pasta dish featuring tender pasta shells coated in a rich, cheesy beef sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 300g medium pasta shells
  • 400g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chopped onion until soft.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Stir in tomato sauce and beef broth. Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and stir until combined and creamy.
  8. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  9. Add cooked pasta shells and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
