A rich and comforting Cajun chicken spaghetti featuring tender chicken, bold spices, and a creamy sauce that perfectly coats every strand of pasta.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and slice.
  4. In the same pan, add butter, onion, garlic, and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Add heavy cream and stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  7. Mix in Parmesan cheese, paprika, and additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
  8. Return chicken to the pan.
  9. Add cooked spaghetti and toss until well coated.
  10. Adjust seasoning and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
  • Use shrimp instead of chicken for variation.
  • Reheat with a splash of milk or broth to keep sauce creamy.
  • Do not overcook to avoid sauce separation.
