Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives), finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  2. Mince the garlic and finely chop the fresh herbs.
  3. Add garlic and herbs to the yogurt.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and olive oil.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Stir everything together until smooth and well combined.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Let the dip sit for a few minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a richer, creamier texture.
  • Strain regular yogurt if substituting to make it thicker.
  • Add paprika or chili flakes for a hint of heat.
  • Mix in grated cucumber for a tzatziki-style variation.
  • Fresh herbs provide the best flavor, but dried can be used in smaller amounts.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Stir before serving as it may thicken over time.
