Ingredients

  • 24 Golden Oreos or lemon-flavored Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate or white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest or 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract (optional)
  • Yellow food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until a thick dough forms.
  3. Scoop and roll the mixture into small truffle balls.
  4. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in short microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Add lemon zest or lemon extract to the melted chocolate if desired.
  8. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate until fully coated.
  9. Place the coated truffles back onto the tray.
