White Chocolate Dipped Chewy Maple Cookies are warmly spiced, soft cookies with rich maple flavor and a sweet white chocolate coating. Perfect for fall and winter, they’re festive, comforting, and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers (for dipping)
  • Optional: sprinkles, flaky salt, or chopped nuts (for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually stir in dry ingredients just until combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft.
  8. Cool cookies completely on a wire rack.
  9. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  10. Dip half of each cookie into melted white chocolate, let excess drip off, and place on parchment to set.
  11. Add optional sprinkles, salt, or nuts while chocolate is still wet. Let chocolate set fully before storing.

Notes

  • Use pure maple syrup for the best flavor.
  • Chill dough briefly if it’s too soft to handle.
  • Let dipped cookies set at room temperature to avoid cracking.
  • Add spices like nutmeg or ginger for variation.
