Tasty Oven Grilled Fish is a quick, healthy, and flavorful dish made with a zesty marinade and baked until tender and flaky. Perfect for a weeknight meal without needing a grill.

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (tilapia, salmon, snapper, or firm white fish)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme to make the marinade.
  4. Brush marinade over both sides of the fish fillets.
  5. Place fish on the baking sheet and let sit for 10 minutes while oven heats.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a lightly charred finish, if desired.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges.
