A quick and comforting creamy honey butter skillet corn made with tender corn kernels in a rich, buttery, and slightly sweet sauce, perfect as an easy and satisfying side dish.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (450 g) corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  2. Add the corn and cook for 4–5 minutes until heated through and slightly tender.
  3. Stir in the honey and mix until the corn is evenly coated.
  4. Add the cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Let the mixture simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes for a sweet and spicy variation.
  • Mix in grated parmesan for extra richness.
  • Use milk instead of cream for a lighter version.
  • Add fresh herbs like parsley for brightness.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream to loosen the texture.
  • Frozen corn works well—just thaw before cooking.
  • Adjust honey مقدار to control sweetness level.
