These Strawberry Ghosts are a no-bake Halloween treat made with juicy strawberries dipped in white chocolate and decorated with spooky faces—perfect for parties, snack trays, or spooky movie nights.

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries (with stems if possible)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or shortening (optional)
  • 24 mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • 12 tbsp melted dark chocolate (for mouths and faces)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and thoroughly dry strawberries to ensure chocolate sticks well.
  2. Melt white chocolate (with coconut oil if using) in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20–30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Dip strawberries into the chocolate, allowing excess to drip and create a ghost tail.
  4. Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. While still soft, add mini chocolate chips for eyes and use melted dark chocolate with a toothpick to draw faces.
  6. Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes until set. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use vegan white chocolate for a dairy-free option.
  • Edible markers or icing can be used for decorating.
  • Use toothpicks or skewers if strawberries don’t have stems.
  • Roll in shredded coconut before setting for texture.
  • Do not freeze—strawberries may become soggy.
