Strawberry Banana Pudding Dream is a luscious, no-bake layered dessert with creamy vanilla pudding, bananas, strawberries, whipped topping, and vanilla wafers—perfect for summer parties and potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 23 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 12 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafer cookies
  • Optional: 4 oz cream cheese or ½ cup sweetened condensed milk (for added richness)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the vanilla pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Chill for 5–10 minutes.
  2. In a trifle dish or 9×13-inch pan, layer vanilla wafer cookies on the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries over the cookies.
  4. Spoon a layer of pudding over the fruit, then spread a layer of whipped topping.
  5. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish.
  6. Finish with whipped topping and garnish with additional fruit.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer texture, blend softened cream cheese or sweetened condensed milk into the pudding.
  • Swap vanilla pudding with banana or cheesecake flavor for a twist.
  • Graham crackers can be used in place of vanilla wafers.
  • For added crunch, top with chopped pecans or granola before serving.
  • Best enjoyed within 24 hours for optimal texture.
