Ingredients

  • 12 oz noodles (egg noodles or spaghetti)
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water (for cornstarch slurry)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

  7. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Add vegetables like bell peppers, broccoli, or carrots for extra nutrition.
  • Adjust sweetness by modifying the amount of honey or sugar.
  • For a spicy version, add chili flakes or chili oil.
  • Substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for variation.
  • Toss cooked noodles with a little oil to prevent sticking if not using immediately.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat with a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce.
