These spooky mummy brownies are fudgy, festive, and frightfully fun for Halloween! Dressed in white chocolate “bandages” and topped with candy eyes, they’re an easy Halloween dessert that’s perfect for kids, parties, or themed treat tables.

Ingredients

  • Brownie batter (homemade or box mix, enough for an 8×8 or 9×13 pan)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • Candy eyes
  • Optional: parchment paper
  • Optional: piping bag or zip-top bag (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare brownie batter according to your recipe or box instructions.
  2. Line baking pan with parchment paper and pour in batter. Bake 25–30 minutes or until set and fudgy.
  3. Cool brownies completely, then cut into rectangles or squares.
  4. Melt white chocolate in microwave in 15–20 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Transfer melted chocolate to a piping or zip-top bag with a small corner snipped.
  6. Drizzle over brownies in zig-zag mummy “bandage” lines.
  7. Place two candy eyes on each brownie while chocolate is still soft.
  8. Let set at room temp or chill briefly until chocolate firms.

Notes

  • Store-bought brownies work great for quick decorating.
  • Use frosting instead of melted chocolate if preferred.
  • Get creative with blondies, red velvet, or peanut butter swirl bases.
  • Add sprinkles or use colored melts for a fun twist.
  • Freeze undecorated brownies and decorate after thawing.
