  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, drained Rotel, cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Mix thoroughly using a spoon or hands until fully combined and uniform.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls and place them evenly on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with dipping sauces if desired.

Notes

  • Drain Rotel thoroughly to prevent excess moisture.
  • Use hot or mild sausage depending on your spice preference.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack for added spice and flavor.
  • Reheat in the oven to maintain crisp texture.
  • Freeze unbaked or baked sausage balls and reheat when needed.
