A creamy, flavorful mac and cheese made with Boursin cheese for an easy, herby twist on classic comfort food. Quick, rich, and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni (or any short pasta)
  • 5.2 oz Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor)
  • 1/23/4 cup milk or cream
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra richness)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella for extra cheesiness
  • Optional toppings: breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot or a separate saucepan, warm the milk or cream over low heat.
  3. Add the Boursin cheese and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Return the pasta to the pot and stir to coat evenly with the creamy sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add any optional cheese or toppings.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

  • Add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or cooked chicken for a full meal.
  • For extra cheesiness, stir in grated cheddar or Gruyère.
  • Bake with breadcrumbs and extra cheese at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes for a golden finish.
  • Use whole milk instead of cream for a lighter version.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat with a splash of milk.
