This creamy Seafood Spinach Dip is a rich and indulgent appetizer made with shrimp, crab meat, fresh spinach, and melty cheese. Baked until golden and bubbly, it’s the perfect warm dip for parties, game days, holidays, or any time you’re craving a cheesy seafood treat.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or use thawed frozen spinach, well-drained)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and mozzarella until smooth.
  3. Stir in chopped shrimp, crab meat, spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, baguette slices, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • Substitute Monterey Jack cheese for extra flavor or use a blend.
  • Add hot sauce or more cayenne for a spicier dip.
  • Top with extra cheese and broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden crust.
  • Frozen spinach works well—just thaw and squeeze out excess moisture.
  • Make dairy-free with vegan cheese and dairy alternatives.
