Ingredients
1 shot espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
3/4 cup milk of choice
1–2 tsp honey
A pinch of salt
1/4 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
2 tbsp heavy cream
2 tbsp milk (for foam)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp sugar or sweetener (optional)
Instructions
Mash the blackberries until juicy, then strain if a smoother texture is desired.
Mix the blackberry juice with heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, and optional sweetener.
Froth or whip the mixture until light and airy to create the cold foam.
Brew espresso or strong coffee.
Stir honey and a pinch of salt into the hot coffee until dissolved.
Heat and froth the milk, then pour it over the coffee.
Spoon the blackberry cold foam gently on top.
Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.
Notes
Use whole milk for a creamier latte, but plant-based milk works well too.
Thaw frozen blackberries before use for better juice extraction.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
For iced version, pour coffee over ice before adding milk and foam.
