Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus required ingredients: usually eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1 can chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the brownie mix in a greased 9×13-inch pan according to package instructions. Let cool completely.
  2. Microwave white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  4. Spread a layer of chocolate frosting over the cooled brownies.
  5. Sprinkle crushed Oreos evenly on top to resemble dirt.
  6. Pipe green chocolate vines in swirls across the surface.
  7. Press pumpkin candies into the frosting to finish your pumpkin patch.
  8. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Brownies can be made and decorated a day ahead and stored at room temperature.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or pumpkin spice to the brownie mix for extra autumn flavor.
  • Use a gluten-free brownie mix and gluten-free cookies for a gluten-free option.
  • Green icing or candy melts work great as a substitute for food coloring.
  • Freeze undecorated brownies for up to 2 months. Thaw and decorate before serving.
