Polar Bear Cookies are adorable, no-bake holiday treats made by dipping sandwich cookies in white chocolate and decorating them to look like playful polar bear faces. Fun to make with kids and perfect for parties or gifting, these cookies are as cute as they are delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1215 white sandwich cookies (like Golden Oreos)
  • 1½ cups white chocolate chips or vanilla candy melts
  • 2430 mini marshmallows, halved (for ears)
  • Mini chocolate chips or candy eyes (for eyes)
  • 1215 chocolate chips or brown M&Ms (for noses)
  • Lollipop sticks or toothpicks (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
  2. Dip each sandwich cookie into the melted chocolate, using a fork or stick to lift and let excess drip off.
  3. Place coated cookies on parchment paper.
  4. Quickly decorate: press two halved mini marshmallows on top for ears, place a chocolate chip or M&M in the center for the nose, and add candy eyes or mini chips for eyes.
  5. Let cookies set at room temperature for 30 minutes or chill in the fridge for 10 minutes until firm.

Notes

  • Use chocolate sandwich cookies to make brown bears.
  • Sprinkle edible glitter or sanding sugar before chocolate sets for sparkle.
  • Swap mini marshmallows with yogurt-covered raisins for variation.
  • Add a drop of peppermint oil to white chocolate for a minty twist.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 5 days.
