This Peppermint Swirl Fudge is a creamy, festive no-bake holiday dessert made with white chocolate, peppermint extract, and a stunning red swirl. Quick to make and perfect for gifting, this easy peppermint fudge recipe delivers sweet, minty flavor in every bite—no candy thermometer required.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • Red food coloring (gel preferred)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 2 tbsp crushed peppermint candies (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat (or in the microwave), melt white chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
  4. Pour most of the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, reserving a few spoonfuls in the bowl.
  5. Add a few drops of red food coloring to the reserved fudge and stir to create the swirl color.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the red fudge onto the white fudge and swirl gently using a toothpick or skewer.
  7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top, if using.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  9. Lift out, slice into squares, and serve.

Notes

  • Use peppermint oil instead of extract with caution—start with just a drop or two.
  • For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free white chocolate and sweetened coconut condensed milk.
  • Add mini marshmallows or crushed cookies for extra texture.
  • For clean cuts, run a sharp knife under hot water and wipe between slices.
  • Store in the fridge or freeze for long-term gifting and snacking.
