A simple, juicy, and versatile oven baked chicken breast recipe that’s healthy, flavorful, and perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the chicken in the baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried herbs. Rub the seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
