One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta is a rich, garlicky comfort dish that cooks entirely in one pot—no draining needed. Creamy, cheesy, and easy to customize, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or indulgent dinners in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in broth and cream, stir to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add pasta to the pot, ensuring it’s mostly submerged. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender and liquid has mostly absorbed.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms for extra protein.
  • Stir in spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for color and flavor.
  • Swap heavy cream for coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce.
  • Use whole milk as a lighter substitute for cream (add a little butter for richness).
