One Pot Beefaroni is a quick and hearty meal made with ground beef, pasta, and a rich tomato-based sauce—all cooked in a single pot. It’s a comforting, family-friendly dinner perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce (if using), salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix well.
  4. Add uncooked pasta and stir to combine. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
  6. Remove from heat. If using, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and let melt. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap ground beef for turkey or sausage for variation.
  • Add veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • Use any short pasta shape; adjust liquid and cook time as needed.
  • For extra cheesiness, stir in shredded cheese before serving.
