No-Bake Peppermint Bark Snowballs are creamy, chocolatey, minty holiday treats that require zero oven time. Made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a dusting of powdered sugar, these no-bake snowballs are perfect for Christmas cookie platters, winter parties, or edible gifting. A festive dessert that’s quick, easy, and full of holiday cheer!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract (for stronger mint flavor)
  • Crushed peppermint candies or holiday sprinkles (for coating)
  • Mini chocolate chips or chopped peppermint bark (folded into mixture)
  • Melted chocolate (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Use a food processor or zip-top bag and rolling pin to crush the cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed cookies with softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth and uniform.
  3. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll into balls using your hands.
  4. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until evenly coated.
  5. Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Enjoy cold or at room temperature.

Notes

  • A few drops of peppermint extract go a long way if you want a mintier bite.
  • Try crushed candy canes or red and green sprinkles for a more colorful presentation.
  • Stir in mini chocolate chips or bits of peppermint bark for extra crunch.
  • Package in mini cupcake liners or treat boxes for holiday gifts.
  • Freeze up to 1 month in a sealed container; thaw in fridge overnight.
