No-Bake Oreo Ghost Truffles are adorable and spooky Halloween treats made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a white chocolate coating. Easy to make and perfect for parties, these ghost-shaped truffles are creamy, sweet, and irresistibly fun for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother coating)
  • Mini chocolate chips or black decorating gel (for eyes and mouth)

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or in a sealed bag with a rolling pin.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully combined and dough-like.
  3. Roll into small balls, then shape into oval ghost forms. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Chill shaped truffles in the fridge for 30–40 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt white chocolate with coconut oil (if using) in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the white chocolate, letting excess drip off. Return to the tray.
  7. Before the coating sets, add mini chocolate chips or use gel to create ghost faces.
  8. Chill again until chocolate is set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Golden Oreos can be used for a vanilla variation.
  • Add peppermint or almond extract to the filling for extra flavor.
  • Shape into simple balls instead of ghosts for easier prep.
  • Use a fork or skewer for dipping to keep hands clean.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
