A refreshing mint lemonade mocktail made with fresh mint leaves, tangy lemon juice, and chilled water. This quick and simple drink is bright, cooling, and perfect for warm days or alcohol-free gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 34 lemons)
  • 2 cups cold water or sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 lemon slices for garnish
  • 2 fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the fresh mint leaves and sugar (or honey) in a glass or small pitcher.
  2. Gently muddle the mint with a spoon or muddler to release its oils and aroma.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir until the sweetener begins to dissolve.
  4. Pour in the cold water or sparkling water and mix well to combine the flavors.
  5. Fill the glasses with ice cubes to chill the drink.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint sprigs.
  7. Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best bright and natural flavor.
  • Sparkling water can be used instead of still water for a fizzy version.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar or honey.
  • Cucumber slices or berries can be added for extra flavor.
  • For a frozen version, blend the drink with ice.
