  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste or ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion until soft, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in tomato paste or ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Whisk the eggs and pour them over the turkey mixture.

  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Add bell peppers or mushrooms for extra texture and nutrients.
  • Mix in cream cheese for a richer, creamier casserole.
  • Top with fresh lettuce and tomatoes after baking for a cheeseburger-style finish.
  • Substitute ground beef if preferred, though it increases fat content.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
  • Can be frozen for longer storage and reheated later.
