Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Fit the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and foamy.
  3. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in melted butter and vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
