These Orange Creamsicle Truffles are creamy, citrusy, and irresistibly nostalgic. Made with white chocolate, orange zest, and a hint of orange extract, they’re the perfect bite-sized treat for summer or any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • Powdered sugar (for rolling, optional)
  • Orange food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate, heavy cream, and butter together, stirring until smooth.
  2. Stir in the orange extract and orange zest. Add a drop or two of orange food coloring if desired.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
  4. Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to form bite-sized balls and roll them between your hands.
  5. Optional: Roll each truffle in powdered sugar or leave plain.
  6. Store truffles in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use gloves or slightly damp hands to prevent sticking when rolling truffles.
  • For a stronger orange flavor, add more extract to taste.
  • Can be frozen for longer storage—just let thaw for 10–15 minutes before serving.
  • Dipping truffles in melted white chocolate adds a beautiful finishing touch.
