Homemade Chex Mix is the ultimate salty, crunchy, and savory snack made with cereal, pretzels, nuts, and a buttery, seasoned coating. Perfect for parties, road trips, or everyday snacking, this classic mix is oven-baked to golden perfection and endlessly customizable.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex
  • 1½ cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup bagel chips or rye chips
  • 1 cup mixed nuts or peanuts
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ tsp seasoned salt
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Prepare a large roasting pan or use two baking sheets.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Corn Chex, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, pretzels, bagel chips, and nuts.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Pour seasoned butter over the dry ingredients and toss gently but thoroughly to coat.
  5. Spread mixture in an even layer in prepared pan(s).
  6. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes for even crisping.
  7. Let cool completely before storing or serving.
