High-Protein Bagel Bites are chewy, savory mini bagels packed with protein from Greek yogurt and optional protein powder. Perfect for post-workout snacks, quick breakfasts, or healthy lunches, they’re easy to make, customizable, and super satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (if using all-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Toppings: shredded cheese, turkey pepperoni, everything bagel seasoning, or sesame seeds
  • Optional: 1–2 tablespoons unflavored protein powder or high-protein flour blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder (if needed), and salt.
  3. Add Greek yogurt and optional protein powder, and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each into a small ball or mini bagel.
  6. Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Add desired toppings like cheese, seasoning, or turkey pepperoni.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or store for later.

  • Use whole wheat flour for added fiber.
  • Add chopped spinach, cooked eggs, or turkey to make breakfast-style bites.
  • Top with marinara and mozzarella for a pizza version.
  • Freeze cooled bagel bites and reheat as needed for easy snacks.
  • Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes for a crispier texture.
