These heart-shaped mini pizzas are fun, festive, and totally customizable. Shaped by hand or with a cutter and topped with your favorite ingredients, they make the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day, parties, or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup tomato or pizza sauce
  • 11 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Assorted toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc.)
  • 12 tbsp olive oil (for brushing crust)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Cut out heart shapes using a cookie cutter or shape by hand. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each heart.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and add desired toppings.
  6. Brush crust edges with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano or seasoning if using.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use pesto instead of tomato sauce for a twist.
  • Dairy-free cheese makes them vegan-friendly.
  • Make dessert versions with sweet dough, Nutella, and fruit.
  • Shaping by hand adds a personal, rustic look.
