Tender Garlic Parmesan Chicken Roll-Ups filled with a creamy, cheesy mixture and baked until golden and juicy. This comforting and flavorful dish feels impressive yet is simple enough for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
  5. Roll up each chicken breast tightly and place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  6. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over each roll-up.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. For extra browning, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Place roll-ups seam-side down to prevent unrolling.
  • Add chopped spinach or red pepper flakes to the filling for variation.
  • Cover loosely with foil when reheating to prevent drying out.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze cooked roll-ups for up to 2 months.
