Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, linguine, or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear the steak bites in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in garlic butter. Remove from heat.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  6. In a separate pan, heat heavy cream over medium heat. Stir in Parmesan, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Toss cooked pasta in the creamy Parmesan sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve pasta topped with garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
  • Customize with shrimp, mushrooms, spinach, or smoked paprika for variation.
  • Reheat pasta with a splash of milk or cream to restore creaminess.
  • Sear steak in batches to avoid overcrowding and ensure a good crust.
