A quick and satisfying Garlic Bread Pizza that combines buttery, garlicky bread with rich pizza sauce, melted mozzarella, and your favorite toppings for an easy comfort-food meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 large French bread or Italian bread loaf
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or toppings of choice
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Bake for 5–7 minutes until slightly crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven and spread pizza sauce evenly over the bread.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce, then add your desired toppings.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly, slice into pieces, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

  • Pre-baking the garlic bread helps prevent sogginess.
  • Use Alfredo sauce for a white garlic bread pizza variation.
  • Add red pepper flakes or drizzle hot honey for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
