Frozen Banana Snickers are bite-sized, no-bake treats made with banana slices, peanut butter, crunchy peanuts, and a chocolate coating. They’re creamy, sweet, salty, and perfect for a healthier frozen dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (or nut/seed butter of choice)
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and slice the bananas into ½-inch rounds.
  2. Spread peanut butter on half the banana slices and top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches.
  3. Press chopped peanuts into the peanut butter layer of each sandwich.
  4. Freeze the banana sandwiches for 30–45 minutes until firm.
  5. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in the microwave or on the stove until smooth.
  6. Dip each frozen banana sandwich in the melted chocolate, coating fully or partially.
  7. Place the chocolate-coated bites back on the parchment-lined tray and freeze for another 20–30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  8. Enjoy straight from the freezer or after softening for 1–2 minutes at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter as alternatives to peanut butter.
  • Drizzle chocolate instead of dipping for a lighter option.
  • Roll in crushed pretzels, granola, or sea salt for extra crunch and flavor.
  • Layer bites with parchment paper in a freezer-safe container to prevent sticking.
  • Vegan version: use dairy-free chocolate chips and plant-based nut butter.
