A sweet, no-bake Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow that’s fluffy, powdery, and packed with nostalgic strawberry flavor, perfect for parties, gifting, or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice or corn square cereal
  • 1.5 cups white chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup strawberry cake mix (heat-treated)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and butter together in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir the vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently toss until evenly coated.
  5. In a separate bowl or large zip-top bag, combine the strawberry cake mix, powdered sugar, and crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
  6. Add the coated cereal to the strawberry mixture and stir or shake until fully coated.
  7. Spread the puppy chow onto a baking sheet and let it cool and set for about 15 minutes before serving.
