This Fluffy Cottage Cheese Flatbread is soft, warm, and comforting with a tender interior and golden exterior. Made with cottage cheese and simple pantry ingredients, it’s quick, versatile, and perfect as a side, wrap, or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Blend cottage cheese and egg until smooth.
  2. In a bowl, stir the blended mixture with flour, baking powder, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour a surface and divide dough into 4 equal pieces.
  4. Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten into a round flatbread shape.
  5. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
  6. Cook each flatbread for 2–3 minutes per side until puffed and golden with light brown spots.
  7. Remove from skillet and keep warm while cooking the remaining flatbreads.

Notes

  • Add garlic powder or dried herbs for extra flavor.
  • Mix in whole wheat flour for a heartier version.
  • Use as a pizza base with toppings.
