Easy Pizza Roses are savory, cheesy mini pizzas shaped like roses—perfect for parties, snacks, or a fun dinner. Made with pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings, they’re as pretty as they are delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2430 pepperoni slices (or other toppings)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a thin rectangle. Slice into 8–10 long strips.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each strip, then sprinkle with mozzarella.
  4. Lay pepperoni slices along the top half of each strip, overlapping slightly.
  5. Fold the bottom half of the dough up over the pepperoni, then roll each strip from one end to form a rose shape.
  6. Place each rolled rose into the muffin tin to hold its shape.
  7. Brush tops with olive oil or butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and parmesan if using.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Use puff pastry or crescent dough for a flakier or softer texture.
  • Try pesto, Alfredo, or ricotta as a filling twist.
  • Fill with veggies like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms for a meatless version.
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer to maintain crispness.
  • Freeze baked roses and reheat directly from frozen at 350°F until warmed through.
