A quick and flavorful keto-friendly stir fry made with tender ground beef and crisp cabbage, perfect for a low-carb, one-pan meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: sliced green onions
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  • Optional: sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and toss to combine.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, then season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or red pepper flakes if desired.

  • Use pre-shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix to save time.
  • Substitute soy sauce with coconut aminos or tamari for dietary needs.
  • Add mushrooms or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
