This Easy Baked Honey Dijon Chicken is a quick and flavorful dish with tender, juicy chicken baked in a sweet, tangy honey Dijon glaze. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep, it’s made with pantry staples and minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless or bone-in)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
  4. Coat chicken in the honey Dijon mixture. Marinate for 30 minutes if time allows.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place chicken in a baking dish and brush with remaining sauce.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and chicken is golden brown.
  8. Let rest a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
